Stay With Me Now…
This will be worth it.
So Taylor, the boy…13 years old…learned in Home Ec last year to make these little morsels he affectionately calls ‘Pizzandwiches’ (pronounced: pea-zan-which-iz). They are, in fact, mini pizzas made on an english muffin. So for Middle School Life Groups that meet every Sunday evening, he signed up to take the famous Pizzandwiches. At Kroger on Friday while I am shopping, I send him around to gather all the ingredients. There are 4: cheese, pepperoni, sauce, and english muffins. Fast forward to Sunday afternoon…Taylor and his cousin, Cody (also 13), begin the culinary process. Step one is the separating of the muffins into halves and placing them onto the pan. At some point Cody mentions that there seems to be something in the muffins. Yes, he is correct. In fact, there are raisins in the muffins. Taylor did not bother to read the label as to which kind of english muffin he was picking up. They were cinnamon raisin. He did read the price and was proud to get them on sale…so I guess that’s something. At this juncture, they can’t make Pizzandwiches with cinnamon and raisins and pepperoni and sauce because that would just be gross. So I toast the muffins and send them with butter and jelly.
Goodness gracious.

Finally, someone who makes me look knowledgeable in the grocery story. Thanks, Tay! I still think it would have been worth trying. How bad can it taste to someone who eats a whole can of beans?
